Open Question: What reality show did Steve Valentine star in?

It was on every week and featured him as a vampire, there were also a witch a shaman and a few other voodoo type characters. It was not freaky links which is a watch weekly type freaky drama. this was like a reality do certain things every week and receive sent home if you do not pass. kinda like Survivor, American Idol and such. this show was on around 2005-06 and is not listed on his credit of things he has played in. If the US can handle that guy from NSync being gay and Lady Gaga being bisexual, why can't they handle Mr. Lambert being gay? He's so gorgeous! Open Question: how come American Idol and Glee can charge for their covers on iTunes, but nobody else really can?

Examples: a rapper can use an instrumental and his/her possess lyrics but those aren't available on iTunes or anywhere for purchase. Isn't it more of a change from the original than the cover with the same lyrics by the previously mentioned examples?

Open Question: Does the modern Republican / Tea Party prey upon the general public's ignorance about issues or the world?

It seems to be like the right wing is far less cultured or educated than the left about things going on outside the United States or any nice of complex political issue. The right wing is every about waving the flag and loving America and your local town, and loving Christianity, and not really caring about any other culture besides their possess. They seem to have far less empathy than liberals for human beings and prey on the fact that most of the American public is ignorant when it comes to critical thinking skills. Like with the Islamic middle - it shouldn't be a surprise that 65% of Americans are against it - but 65% of Americans also probably don't even know the difference between Islam and Hindus, or locate a few Middle Eastern countries on a map. Most Americans are ignorant and stupid when it comes to anything outside of American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, or what Brangelina are wearing today - and conservatives sell their agenda on this fact. Thoughts?

Voting Question: Why is TV so stupid, repetitive and filled with mindless junk?

I can understand how it is cheaper to pay some washed up celebrities and naive instant-popstars to host junk like big brother, american/australian/etc idol, dance whatever; but do people seriously watch or subscribe to this crap? Pay tv... I'm not ignorant enough to pay for the visual excrement iv seen on foxtel, austar etc. But for the people who are, don't you receive mad that the purpose of paying for tv was originally so revenue from advertising was not required to pay for content. Now they double dip their greedy claws in the money pot earning their shareholders (the wealthy receive richer) and ceo's more money while you unnecessarily pay more and more. Free tv... although I shouldn't complain about something free, I hate how advertising has become so cunning and imbedded into tv and movies. I hate crime dramas, every 1 or 2 hundred of them. I hate every reaity tv - just cease it! Bad! No!. I hate current affairs shows, if you believe the stuff they "report" on then you are a dumbass. Voting Question: I'm looking for the name of an all female group from many years ago?

Keep in mind that I am only 18 and the group was around I'm guessing when I was about 10 or so. I do remember that the name of the group was only two words. The women in this group had to have been about in their 20's and they every won a talent show type thing. Somewhat a mix between Diddy's show and American Idol but I believe the name was "Stars". They didn't stick around long and I'm pretty sure they only had one cd. One tune that comes to mind the most had the lyrics "the goose and the gander" and another tune of their's started out like a phone call. Resolved Question: Question about finally following my dream? I'm scared.?

All my life I have loved singing and performing. I've been to numerous Broadway shows, and I absolutely adore them. However my whole life I focused more on soccer. And it worked out great for me, I'm not playing at the college level and starting as a freshman and I adore it. However in a class I am taking, we recently read the book The Alchemist. In this book they talk about how no matter what, you have to follow your dream and do what makes you truly glad, no matter what other people say. And in life there are "omens" that point you towards your calling. every this got me to thinking. I've always loved singing, and every through high school I got by by just barely satisfying my need for performing and singing. I was in advanced chorus as a freshman and I did some vocal competitions as well as district and every state choir. But now that I'm in college and I have no outlet for singing. And i know it sounds weird but I feel like i'm dying, like im rotting away, like im empty. When I was home I would receive in my car and just steer and just sing for hours. But i cant do that here. I have no way to sing and its killing me. i know this may sound over dramatic and be difficult to understand or sound stupid. but its true. its gotten so bad here. Dont receive me wrong, i AM glad. But its gotten to the point where i tell my roommate im "going for a run" and i really just go to a secluded place on campus and sing. I'm rotting away without singing and i feel so empty. So this got me to thinking, maybe I've been ignoring every the "omens" in my life. I don't really believe in omens per say, but I do believe in things pointing you towards your calling. So now I'm starting to think that every the little things, like being placed in advanced chorus as a freshman, making every-state, getting the district solo, winning our schools version of "american idol", being told i'm a good actress, etc. Maybe these were every "omens" telling me to do what really makes me glad. Now dont receive me wrong, I adore soccer. And i've arrive too far and im too good to give it up and i wont. But the more i think about it, the more im realizing that without performing im not glad. So here i am, at college, and the time has arrive for me to declare a major (well i have to soon anyway). And instead of doing something along the lines of sports marketing or i was thinking maybe psychology, instead i'm thinking musical theater. I'm dying without singing here, and performing is what makes me really glad in the end. But i'm scared. I know i have the TALENT to be great at it, but i dont have and EXPERIENCE. In highschool, the musicals were always during soccer season so I could never do one. And now i want to major in something I have no experience in?! People are saying thats foolish and dumb. But after reading the Alchemist, i've realized its time to cease ignoring my calling. I CANT ignore it anymore or i might go insane. So should i do it? Will they be able to tutor me everything from square one? What should I expect? Would it be smart to wait to declare my major till next year and spend the summer learning more about it? I dont know what to do. I just know i'm dying without singing and performing. also, choosing musical theater as a career seems so risky. what will i do as a career??? but its the only way i look myself being happy

Additional Details I don't feel the need to explain to everyone that this is in no way racist, because whites are not usually very easily offended. =]
